First Outing
Ana and I took an important step in our father-daughter relationship yesterday: we went to Barnes & Noble, got a vanilla latte, and checked out the Sci-Fi/Fantasy section. We had a great time. You'll note Jacques and Jordan on the shelf. I'm sure we'll be exploring Redwall in no time.

you can start her on jordan. that way, by the time his re-animated corpse finishes the series, she'll be like 18 years old!!!

There will be time to read Little Women and Anne of Green Gables as well. This wasn't the only section she saw.
Don't forget Pride and Prejudice ;)
I'm just glad you're avoiding the theology section for now.
Tell her what my dad told me:

To the 'Noble' already?
Just hide her too-precious eyes from the works of Sylvia Plath and Emily Dickinson!
We're staying away from that section on principle.
