Winter solstice; summer solstice - July 2026 Issue Header

Time is a weird thing. While many of our friends and family just experienced their longest day of the year, we just experienced our shortest. The difference in times and rhythms of the year continues to throw us even as we’ve lived here more than ten years. In this liminal space of disorientation, we trust God’s spirit to continue working on us, in us, and maybe even through us.

We’re Jeremy, Katie, Adileen (10), and Kinney (7) Daggett and we’ve been living in Peru for the last twelve years. We are part of the Christian Urban Development Association and direct Harding University Latin America. This newsletter is a continuation of the Team Arequipa newsletter. If you're new here, welcome 😊.

A few more photos

You’ve probably seen plenty, but here are just a few more photos that I thought I ought to include. Kinney tends to go “Koala mode” on me all the time, but especially if I'm speaking in front of a group of people or trying to get some work done. I figured we ought to honor that by sharing these. If you’ve read all the way to here, thank you. Your love and prayers mean the world to us. For those of you who contribute financially to the work here, whether through our sending churches, Central in Little Rock and Cedar Lane in Tullahoma TN, or by giving directly to CUDA, thank you—from the depths of our hearts.

Peace.
